Prof. Dr. Don McNeil is an internationally recognized statistician and epidemiological researcher, formerly the Foundation Professor of Statistics at Macquarie University, Australia, and currently Professor Emeritus in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. His research spans biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, environmental and climate science, financial modelling, and data science analytics.
His scholarly record includes more than 100 research outputs, with his work receiving substantial international citation impact. His highly cited article, Applying Cox Regression to Competing Risks, co-authored with Michael Lunn and published in Biometrics in 1995, has accumulated more than 800 Scopus citations.
